Microtek is proud to announce its sponsorship of The Photo Review 23rd Annual International Photography Competition 2007 — a contest with $2,000 in available awards open to all Microtek users.

The Competition: Accepted work will be reproduced in the 2007 competition issue of The Photo Review, a critical journal of photography with an international scope and readership. Prize winners will be exhibited at the photography gallery at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, and on The Photo Review website, in the hope of providing important exposure and benefits to exhibiting artists.

Juror: Toby Jurovics, Curator of Photography, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.

Awards: Awards include a Microtek ScanMaker i800 scanner with built-in 8"x12" transparency adapter, plus DIGITAL ICE to fix damaged photos & film, and the ColoRescue™ system for automatic color restoration.

Call for Entries: All photographs — black and white, color, non-silver, computer-manipulated, etc. — are eligible. Submit slides or unmatted, unframed prints up to 16"x20", or files on CD.

Due Dates: Work must be received by mail between May 1 and May 15, 2007.
